Rust might not be the kind of language that people associate with building computer games but the This Month in Rust GameDev #5 - December 2019 SHOWS OTHERWISE!
That report showcases some very INTERESTING game creation work that is using the Rust programming language.
It looks like some FINE gaming work is being done using Rust!
BRAVO!
I do not know much at all about BUREAUCRACY but I still found the Towards a Rust foundation article by Niko Matsakis to be INTERESTING!
It explains the why, and the goals, and more about possibly creating a FOUNDATION for Rust!
When I hear about things like this it makes me think that Rust is GROWING and MATURING.
I am EXCITED to learn of what will come of this!
I don't have time right now to read it right now but Porting a JavaScript App to WebAssembly with Rust (Part 2) is now available!
I must STUDY this matter!

Today I learned of the Why is the Rust programming language not getting popular? article.
It is about a topic that is so CONTENTIOUS within the Rust community I believe!
The relationship between Rust and C++ is such a COMPLEX one.
When to use Rust and when to use C++ is such a CHALLENGING matter that I don't think has an easy answer.
This topic brings up so MANY questions!
Should Rust even try to COMPETE with C++, or should it just do its own thing for its own users?
Some may even ask, are Rust and C++ even COMPETITORS to begin with?!
Will Rust still be as special as it currently is if future versions of C++ start to support some of its features?
While we use C++ code that is many years old, will we have the same success in the future using Rust code that is many years old?
What a COMPLEX matter!
I will have to THINK about this matter some more.
