Cranston's Life - Rust and More Rust

More Thoughts About Rust from a C# Programmer!

I am always so INTERESTED in learning about people who usually use other programming languages think about Rust.

It is when people who use different programming languages come together that KNOWLEDGE can be passed around.

The article A C# programmer examines Rust - Part 2 by Mike Treit is very INTERESTING to me.

I must STUDY that article more, and I must EXAMINE and UNDERSTAND the Rust and C# code.

Gaining Knowledge About Rust Strings!

Strings are such an IMPORTANT programming concept.

I do not think that it matters which programming language you are using, because understanding strings in a programming language is in my experience always so IMPORTANT.

Strings in Rust can be a complicated topic and the String vs &str in Rust article may help one UNDERSTAND Rust strings better.

I must STUDY strings in Rust so that I may gain knowledge of them.

Oxidize 1K Sounds Interesting to Me!

Due to scheduling conflicts I do not think that I will be able to attend Oxidize 1K but it sounds most INTERESTING to me!

It is DESCRIBED as "a remote-only conference for Embedded Rust Development on Friday, March 20th at 17:00 CET/09:00 PDT"!

If you are a Rust programmer and if you are interested in the embedded domain then this may be of INTEREST to you!

Rust 1.42! Rust 1.42!

A new version of Rust is something that I find to be very EXCITING!

And it has happened AGAIN!

Rust 1.42 is OUT!

It has IMPROVEMENTS like better panic messages, and subslice patterns, and a new "matches!" macro, and other changes!

GOOD WORK to all of the Rust contributors who have made this a reality!

GOOD WORK!
